2013 Kentucky High School Mock Trial Tournament
The Kentucky High School Mock Trial Tournament is recognized as one of the best law-related education programs in the state. Eastern Kentucky University, in partnership with Bellarmine University, hosted this year’s tournament on March 8-10, 2013. Rounds were held at the EKU Business & Technology Building in Richmond and the Fayette County Circuit and District Courthouses in Lexington.
Montgomery County High School won its third consecutive Kentucky High School Mock Trial Championship, defeating Madison Central High School in the championship round. Montgomery County will represent Kentucky in the National High School Mock Trial Championship, which will be held in Indianapolis on May 9-11, 2013.
