A native of Eastern Kentucky, Brandon Williams received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish from Eastern Kentucky University as well as his Master of Public Administration. In his role at the Office of Equity and Inclusion (OEI), Brandon investigates alleged violations of the University’s Non-Discrimination and Harassment Policy, including alleged violations of Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as well as Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972.

Brandon extensively trains students, faculty, and staff across EKU’s campus regarding implementation of, and laws pertaining to, the Non-Discrimination and Harassment Policy. Additionally, Brandon trains extensively on Green Dot Bystander Intervention.

Brandon previously served as Assistant Director of EKU’s Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards, where he coordinated Student Disciplinary Council hearings and oversaw a revision of the University’s Student Code of Conduct, among many other responsibilities. Before that, Brandon worked comprehensively in residence life at EKU and then the University of Kentucky.

Brandon currently serves as assistant coach of EKU’s nationally ranked mock trial team and is a member of the University’s Compassionate Withdrawal Committee and Admission Appeals Committee. Additionally, Brandon belongs to the Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA) as well as the Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA). He was previously a member of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA), the College Personnel Association of Kentucky (CPAK), and the Kentucky Association of Housing Officers (KAHO).
