2014 Kentucky High School Mock Trial Tournament - Directions and Parking

FRIDAY, MARCH 14

LOCATION: Combs Classroom Building, EKU main campus, Richmond

PARKING: Please refer to this PDF map - the Combs Building is #37 on the map, and the Martin Lot is pictured in yellow next to it.  Note: No permit is required to park in the Martin Lot on Friday because EKU is on spring break, but to avoid a ticket, please do not park in any specially-marked spaces (e.g., handicapped, car pool, or RHC or "residence hall coordinator" spaces).

DIRECTIONS:

From Southbound I-75: Get off at Exit 87 and turn left onto Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) Bypass.  Cross over interstate and drive approximately 1 mile.  Turn LEFT at stoplight onto Lancaster Avenue. Make SECOND RIGHT onto Park Drive. Make FIRST LEFT in front of the Starbucks - that puts you in the Martin Lot.  The Combs Classroom Building is the big building at the far end of that lot.

SATURDAY, MARCH 15 and SUNDAY, MARCH 16

LOCATION: Fayette County District/Circuit Courthouses, Robert F. Stephens Courthouse Complex, Lexington; two rounds on Saturday will be held across the street at the Central Library due to earlier flooding at the courthouse

PARKING: Free on Saturday/Sunday at the Barr St. Garage; overflow parking is available at the Lexington Traditional Magnet School on N. Limestone between E. 3rd and E. 4th Sts.

DIRECTIONS: Main and Vine Streets will be blocked off near the courthouses on Saturday for much of the day due to a 3K race and the St. Patrick's Day parade.  Because of that, we strongly suggest that you approach downtown Lexington from another route, such as Exit 113 (Broadway) or Exit 115 (Newtown Pike), on Saturday.  The VisitLex website has useful maps showing the approaches from those exits.
