EKU Mock Trial teams placed first and third at the 11th Annual Owl Classic hosted by Kennesaw State University at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School on October 16, 2021. EKU’s first-place team defeated teams from Georgia Southern University and Georgia Tech, while its third-place team earned victories over Kennesaw State and Lee University.

For the third straight year, Eastern Kentucky University’s Mock Trial Team has earned a trip to the American Mock Trial Association’s (AMTA) National Championship Tournament. EKU finished with a 7-1 record at the AMTA Memphis Opening Round Championship Series, good for third place and a trip to Los Angeles to compete for the national title.
